I want the member and all the other members who believe in social justice to assert clearly, as I do myself, that social justice starts with health and that the provinces cannot properly provide the services they should be giving to their citizens if this government does not restore the transfers it has cut unilaterally, without notice, off-handedly and with complete disregard for jurisdictions.
Je veux que lui, l'ensemble des députés et moi qui croyons à la justice sociale disions clairement qu'elle passe par la santé, que les provinces ne peuvent pas livrer correctement les services qu'elles sont en droit de donner à leurs concitoyens si ce gouvernement ne rétablit pas les transferts qui ont été coupés unilatéralement, de manière cavalière, sans préavis, à l'endroit du respect des juridictions.
